Take Me To Africa was created to help people experience Africa in a way that feels personal to them.
There is no single perfect African holiday. For some, it means remote camps, long game drives and as much wildlife as possible. For others, it might combine safari with dramatic scenery, culture, coastlines, food and wine, or simply time to slow down.
We create bespoke journeys across Southern and East Africa, shaped around the individual rather than a standard itinerary.

Sam spent part of her childhood in South Africa, where weekends often meant heading into the Kruger in the back of a clapped-out old car with no air conditioning. Those early game drives sparked a love of Africa and a desire to explore more of the continent as soon as she was old enough. Not much has changed since.
After 15 years working in the corporate world, Sam founded Take Me To Africa to share the places she loves and show more people how varied and extraordinary the continent can be.
The business began with carefully selected small group tours, giving travellers a carefully planned way to experience Africa beyond the obvious routes. Over time, Sam increasingly found herself wanting to create journeys around the individual – their interests, pace, priorities and idea of a memorable trip – rather than asking them to fit into a fixed itinerary that could feel like one compromise too many.
Sam remains our lead trip planner and personally designs many of our itineraries. She travels regularly throughout Africa, visits properties and destinations to see how well they live up to the promise, and works closely with our team and local partners to find the places and experiences that are genuinely worth including.
This gives us the knowledge to make honest recommendations and a clear understanding of what will suit each traveller.
